Introduction for Baicalin
Baicalin is the dry root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, which is a commonly used Chinese herbal medicine. Pharmacological studies have shown that flavonoids are the main active ingredient of Astragalus root. At present, 41 kinds of flavonoids have been found in Astragalus, and the higher content and obvious pharmacological effects are astragalus, baicalein, wogonin and scutellaria.
Most flavonoids have certain antioxidant effects, and the 2,3 double bond and 4-position carbonyl group in the flavonoid structure and the 3 or 5-position hydroxyl group play an important role in the antioxidant action of flavonoids. Baicalin has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and antiviral effects. Studies have shown that the antifungal action of the alcohol soluble fraction and the water soluble fraction of xanthine has found that the alcohol soluble fraction of astragalus has a stronger inhibitory effect on Tr, and the other test species have a weaker inhibitory effect; the water soluble fraction on Tr, Tg, Five kinds of tested strains such as Ef, Cn and Ca have strong inhibitory effects. It is also proved that the active constituents of Astragalus membranaceus mainly exist in its water-soluble part. The antimony solution extracted from dilute acetic acid without ethanol treatment has inhibitory effects on various pathogenic fungi and has a certain synergistic effect with Huang Jing.
It is known from the structure of the flavonoids of Astragalus baicalin membranaceus that it has a strong coordination ability and can be coordinated with various metal ions under neutral or weakly alkaline conditions. baicalin has been reported in the literature that the introduction of metal ions can improve the biological activity of flavonoids in xanthine, indicating that metal ions and xanthine flavonoids have synergistic effects on biological activity.
