Capsaicin ester is a kind of non-irritating and low toxic capsaicinoids extracted from sweet pepper variety CH-19 Sweet. It has many physiological functions and has wide application value. Capsaicin ester has been a research hotspot in regulating glycolipid metabolism, anti-cancer, anti-inflammation, enhancing exercise endurance and anti-oxidation. Its biological activities in analgesia, anti-allergy, enhancing swallowing reflex, up-regulating insulin-like growth factor level in skin and activating brain areas have also been paid attention.
